A messy weather system is coming to the province tomorrow. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, indicating an intense low pressure system will track towards the Maritimes on Tuesday. Snow and blowing snow will begin Tuesday afternoon over Southwestern Nova Scotia, and spread over the rest of the province by evening. The snow will change over to rain tomorrow night, ending early Wednesday morning.
Snowfall amounts could reach 15 centimetres. Rainfall amounts will reach 25 millimetres, especially along the Atlantic coast.
