There are three new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia. Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials says one case is in Northern Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case. One case is in Central Zone and is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada. The third is in Eastern Zone and the person works on the Marine Atlantic Ferry. This case is currently under investigation by public health in close collaboration with Marine Atlantic as well as public health in Newfoundland and Labrador.
There are 22 active cases of the virus. No one is in hospital.
Nova Scotia Health Authority’s Labs completed 1,685 tests on Tuesday.
