The list of candidates is in for the Municipality of the County of Antigonish.
Nova Scotia municipal and CSAP school board elections are set for October 17. Electors may vote between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm at locations to be announced and advance polls are set for
Saturday, October 10th, and on Tuesday, October 13th, between noon and 8:00 p.m.
In District 2, there is a race between incumbent Donnie MacDonald and newcomer Kristel Fleuren-Hunter. In District 4, incumbent Vaughan Chisholm is up against Shawn Brophy. For district 9, incumbent Neil Corbett has competition from Carol MacEachern and Harris McNamara.
Mary MacLellan, Hughie Stewart, Remi Deveau, Owen McCarron, John Dunbar, Gary Mattie, and Bill MacFarlane are all acclaimed as council members while Alfred M Benoit is acclaimed as the CSAP school board member.
