Town of Antigonish Awards Contract to a Local Company for Residential Waste Collection

A local company has been awarded the contract for Residential Waste Collection for the Town of Antigonish.
Eastern 2.0 submitted the low bid of $802,162.  Two other companies bid on the project.
The contract is for six years, beginning on September first; expiring on March 30, 2032.  The town has the option of extending the contract for an additional two years.
