The Town of Antigonish issued a post on Facebook Thursday afternoon stating it came to their attention that a crew member at a construction site was assaulted by a member of the public.
Sgt. James Jessome with the Antigonish RCMP confirmed police received a complaint of an assault alleged to have happened involving a worker on West Street.
Jessome said no charges have been laid at this time.
