Antigonish Town Council voted to get staff to look into potential traffic calming measures for

the Arbour Drive area of the town.
After residents raised concerns and council heard from police during last night’s meeting, council will request staff look at what can be done to curb speeding in the area. Mayor Laurie Boucher said she’d be hesitant to say exactly what will go down there without proper research into what should be there.
For now, Boucher said staff will target that area and then move onto another, noting it is difficult to do the whole town at once.
