The Town of Antigonish has enjoyed its relationship with the Eastern District Planning

Commission; so much so, it wants to become a permanent member. The town moved its planning services to the commission three years ago on a probationary basis. Mayor Laurie Boucher says the change has enhanced the town’s planning ability.
The town will soon be sending a letter to the planning commission, seeking to become a permanent member.
