The audited financial statements for the fiscal year that ended March 31 were submitted to and passed by New Glasgow Town Council.
The town ended with an operational surplus of just under $482,000 which was transferred to the General Operating Fund. Mayor Nancy Dicks noted in her remarks that the surplus was thanks to many grants for capital projects from the other two levels of government.
