The town of Pictou approved the audited financial statements for both the town and the water utility for the fiscal year ending March 31st of this year.

Mayor Jim Ryan said that MNP, the company that did the audits, had great things to say about the efforts of town staff.
Ryan says the town ended the year with a healthy surplus, which will go into reserves.
