X-Women Track runner Caroline Ash is the STFX Female Athlete of the Week.

Ashe, a fourth year Business student from Newmarket, ON, is the AUS Female Track Athlete of the Year following the conference championship this weekend. She was a double gold medalist at the event, winning the AUS title with her 4x800m teammates and claiming top spot in the 1000m. Caroline’s top time in the 1000m race broke an AUS championship meet record. She advanced to compete the at U SPORTS national championship March 5-7 in Manitoba.

MacDonald, a fourth year Science student from Pictou was a double silver medalist at the AUS championship in Moncton this weekend. He earned a silver medal with his teammates in the 4x800m relay, and was the individual silver medalist in the 3000m race.
