There will be a race for Mayor in Port Hawkesbury in next month’s municipal election.
Incumbent Mayor Brenda Chisholm-Beaton will run against Archie MacLaughlan. Three councillors are seeking re-election, Hughie MacDougall, Mark MacIver and Blaine MacQuarrie. Newcomers vying for a seat on the four member council are Jason Aucoin, Paula Hart, John Ouellette and Michele Tabensky
