In the Home Management report delivered by Guysborough District warden Vernon Pitts to 
council at the regular monthly meeting, it was noted that the Milford Haven Home for Special Care in Guysborough and Canso Seaside Manor would begin biweekly COVID-19 testing of all staff and visitors.
Also, staff will once again revert to the practice of wearing scrub uniforms at work which they will change into and out of on the premises to reduce the risk of infection. This practice was instituted during the first wave of the pandemic but was discontinued when restrictions eased over the summer.
