A couple of members of the Cape Breton West Islanders under 18 hockey team have signed as
free agents with the Cape Breton Eagles of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Islanders have announced that team Captain and league all-star Dylan Chisholm and the league’s most improved player Jimmy Beaton will be attending the Eagles’ training camp.
They will join teammate Liam Trenholm, who was taken in the 12th round by the Eagles in the league draft over the weekend
