There are two new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia. Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials say one case is Eastern Zone and one is in Central Zone. Both are related to travel outside Atlantic Canada. Both are self-isolating as required.
There are now 29 active cases of the virus in the province.
Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 1,831 Nova Scotia tests on Thursday.
The province has also announced it is renewing the state of emergency. The order will take effect at noon on Sunday. and extend to noon on Sunday, January 24th unless government terminates and extends it.
