cultural, social and economic well-being, adding all 10 universities faced unexpected financial challenges for 2020-21, including loss in revenues related to tuition and residence fees.

StFX University is set to receive just over $3.6 million in the coming weeks, with the funding based on information provided by the universities regarding expenses incurred in responding to the pandemic.

During a provincial update on COVID-19, Premier Stephen McNeil also announced new measures for rotational workers. Currently, rotational workers are expected to get a test within a day or two of arriving and then again within a week.

McNeil said the province hopes the new policy will help them identify covid 19 earlier and slow its spread while continuing to roll out the vaccine program
