The Ward One Recreation Centre in New Glasgow will be getting a new Accessible Ramp and Stairs over the summer.
Council approved the contract of I. Matheson Company Limited to design, fabricate and build the Ramp & Stairs at a cost of $142,970 + HST.
Town engineer Earl MacKenzie told council the work should be completed no later than 14 weeks from now.

When Howard, a radio veteran and one of the original Broadcast News anchors, founded Broadcast Dialogue in 1992, he saw a need for both timely delivery of Canadian broadcast industry news, but also recognized the importance of creating a sense of community.
