While many other municipalities have had to cut back on water consumption during the extended dry spell, so far the town of New Glasgow has been spared.
Town engineer Earl MacKenzie says the water level in the Forbes Lake reservoir is checked daily, but at the moment it remains above the level that would trigger a conservation order.
