The town of Westville has found a contractor to make the washrooms on the main floor of Town Hall accessible.
Council passed a motion to award the contract to Ridgemark Design and Construction Limited at a cost of just over $117,000. The money for the project is being provided through a grant to the town. CAO Scott Weeres noted that the design by Ridgemark will also include a shower, which could be used when the building is a shelter during emergencies such as storms or major power outages.
