Westville council has given direction to town staff to make adjustments to land-use bylaws in town that would more easily allow the building of so-called “tiny homes”, modular homes, and “pocket neighborhoods”.
Council noted that between the serious need for more homes, and the number of smaller plots of land in town, there needs to be a “made-in-Westville” solution to encourage more construction. Staff is expected to submit a first draft of amendments for council to review in early 2026.
Broadcast Dialogue has announced the winners of the inaugural Canadian Radio Awards, which we’ve dubbed “The Howards” after our publisher emeritus Howard Christensen.
When Howard, a radio veteran and one of the original Broadcast News anchors, founded Broadcast Dialogue in 1992, he saw a need for both timely delivery of Canadian broadcast industry news, but also recognized the importance of creating a sense of community.
