Westville town council passed second and final reading of a new by-law that discourages feeding of wildlife – deer, in particular – with fines for those found in violation.
The by-law is being forwarded for approval by the Minister of Municipal Affairs – CAO Scott Weers says once approval is given, the by-law could go into effect as early as March.
