Work Continues on Sugarloaf; a Development that includes a Medical Clinic and Housing In Antigonish County

Work continues on what organizers describe as an intentional community called Sugarloaf in Antigonish County.

Patrick McKenna, second stage housing coordinator for the Naomi Society, explained a CACL building is completed, while a medical clinic is in progress, and a Naomi Society project is in its design phase, as is an affordable housing project for Antigonish Affordable Housing.

 

 

 

 

A release on behalf of all parties states the development, located on land provided by Dr. Amy Hendricks and Paul Davie, reflects a shared belief that housing is the foundation of a thriving community.
