Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative House Leader Allan MacMaster wants to get back to the
legislature.
The Inverness MLA says the legislature has not sat in any capacity, virtual or otherwise, since the onset of Covid 19 and only sat for 13 days in total this year. Sitting in legislature is part of the job of an MLA, says MacMaster, adding the legislatures is for more than just passing laws.
When asked what the PCs want to tackle upon return to the legislature when it opens, MacMaster pointed to the current pandemic, noting a lot of things have changed because of covid 19. With questions about government spending and how it is providing for Nova Scotians, MacMaster says the PCs are anxious to get back to the house.
