With two positive cases of COVID-19 identified at StFX, Antigonish County Warden Owen McCarron said the county is asking people to be mindful and support their neighbours.
While McCarron said he hasn’t heard from residents on the matter, he said he heard from StFX

president Andy Hakin after public health identified each case. The warden says council isn’t surprised with the odd case, noting both the province and the university did an exceptional job in bringing students in safely.
McCarron said the county will work with its partners to make sure people stay safe, adding he feels confident the proper protocols are in place to keep COVID contained.
