An Antigonish County resident has received the Nova Scotia Salmon Association’s highest
honour. At a recent event in Halifax, Terry MacIntyre was presented with the Lieutenant-Governor’s Conservation Award. The Award recognizes leadership, achievement, interest and concern in protecting rivers in the province and the salmon and trout that inhabit them.
MacIntyre says he is both surprised and touched by the honour.
Association President Kris Hunter says MacIntyre is a force in Salmon conservation and advocacy in the province.
