Antigonish County’s property assessment notices are in the mail.
The Property Valuation Services Corporation mailed out property assessments on Monday and
residents have 30 days to appeal any issues. PVSC offered a presentation to Antigonish County Council the same night during the municipality’s regular monthly meeting.
Warden Owen McCarron said appeals can vary from the wrong number of rooms listed in a residence or a question of the value of the assessment.
Like in previous years, council encourages residents to look over the documents to make sure they are accurate.
