Province announces Extension of Holiday Break for Province’s Education Centres

processing plant in the valley and a second case at a Dartmouth school, they also announced the extension of the holiday break for all of the provinces education centres. Premier Stephen McNeil also announced the government will announced further restrictions and protocols for the holidays next.

The last day of school in 2020 will be December 18 and students will return on January 11. McNeil said they are doing this out of an abundance of caution.

Teachers will show up at January 4 for professional development
