Public Health Warns of Potential Exposure to COVID-19 on Two Recent Air Canada Flights from Toronto to Sydney

Nova Scotia Public Health is advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 on two recent Air Canada flights from Toronto to Sydney.

One is Air Canada flight 8210 from Toronto that landed in Sydney at 12.10 a.m. on December 3rd. Public Health says those in seats 14 to 18 should continue to self-isolate and book a COVID-19 test, whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms.

The second is Air Canada Flight 8210, arriving in Sydney at 12:16 a.m. on November 19th. Passengers in rows 21 to 25 in seats A, C, D and F or others on that flight who has or has had any mild symptoms of COVID-19 should self-isolate and book a test. All other passengers should continue to monitor for symptoms of the virus.

The Province also identified cases of COVID-19 at two schools Sunday, one at Ian Forsyth Elementary School in Dartmouth, in Central Zone and one at Berwick and District School in Western Zone. Both schools will remain closed until Thursday.
