Charge Laid by Police in Two Vehicle Crash in James River

Oct 18, 2019 | Local News

A collision near James River early Thursday morning led to a driver being ticketed under the motor vehicle act. The collision took place between 7 and 7:30 a.m.

A representative from the RCMP stated an investigation determined the vehicle heading east on highway 104 crossed the centre line and struck a west heading vehicle.  The driver of the eastbound vehicle was in hospital for treatment of what the police described as serious but not life threatening injuries while the driver of the other vehicle was treated on scene.

Police say the driver of the east bound vehicle was charged under the motor vehicle act for crossing a solid yellow line
