Antigonish native Sean Stewart will continue his major junior hockey career in Prince Edward Island.
Stewart, a 6-foot-one defencemen in his third full season with Moncton, has been traded by the Wildcats to the Charlottetown Islanders. In exchange for Stewart, the Islanders have sent defenceman Anthony Hamel and two 2022 draft picks to Moncton.
Stewart logged 125 games with Moncton, recording four goals and 21 points during that time.
